CIRP LCE 2026 Industrial Tour

An industrial tour is planned on March 10 (Tuesday), for which three courses [A]–[C] have been prepared as listed below. Please be advised to carefully read the following instructions before applying to the industrial tour. If you wish to attend, please choose your choice on Online Application.

IMPORTANT: Instructions for Industrial Tour

The conference organizers take no responsibility for any accidents, except ones by gross negligence. You are kindly asked to take all possible means to prevent any accident. Also, please conform to the followings:

  1. Please avoid wearing shoes with slippery surfaces, such as high heels and sandals. Also, please refrain from having on clothes exposing your skin, such as short sleeves and half pants.
  2. Please follow the instructions of staff throughout the tour.
  3. In the tour, please do not touch any equipment, machinery and products including exhibits.
  4. Do not drink alcohol before the tour, nor eat and smoke at the tour site.
  5. Please note that this tour is not covered by any insurance. Participants are welcome to join at their own responsibility and discretion.
  6. Participants are requested to gather at Kamakura Prince Hotel and will also be dismissed at the same location. Participants are requested to arrive on time for registration and departure.
  7. Please note that the schedule and times are subject to change.

Note that the tour participation requires an additional surcharge (JPY 8,000/person), which is not included in the registration fee. The tour registration is on a first-come first-serve basis due to the limited seat availability. Applicants belonging to the same industry might get their participation withheld. In case of cancellation, the cancellation policy described in the Registration page will be applied to the industrial tour fee.


[A] RICOH Eco Business Development Center
(Located in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture)

Course [A] will be held on Tuesday, March 10, from 11:15am to 6:00pm.

This center has three major functions: the “Reuse & Recycling Center,” which started operation in 2016; “a center for verification of eco-business technologies,” which is already in operation; and a “source to distribute information regarding eco-business activities.” It aims at creating and expanding eco-business towards achieving “eco-management that evolves with customers.”

At the foothill of scenic Mt. Fuji, surrounded by rich natural beauty, visitors can tour Ricoh Eco Business Development Center, Gotemba, which consists of a remanufacturing plant of photocopiers, explanations of R&D in promising eco-technologies, and a neat exhibition area.

[B] YAMADA East Japan Reuse Center
(Located in Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture)

Course [B] will be held on Tuesday, March 10, from 10:15am to 7:00pm.

[C] Rever Corporation Kawajima Plant
(Located in Hiki-gun, Saitama Prefecture)

Course [C] will be held on Tuesday, March 10, from 10:45am to 6:30pm.

Established over a century ago in 1904 (Meiji 37), REVER CORPORATION has evolved into a pivotal partner dedicated to creating resources from waste. With its headquarters in Tokyo, the company operates with a strong business foundation primarily centered in the Kanto region, while also leveraging a nationwide network to serve its diverse clientele.

REVER's extensive business activities are at the forefront of the circular economy. The company offers a wide array of specialized services that showcase its role as a comprehensive recycling partner. These include the purchase, processing, and sale of metal scrap, as well as comprehensive services for industrial waste disposal, collection, and transport, including special industrial waste.

Rever Group is a leading recycler handling approximately 200,000 end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) annually, holding one of the top market shares in Japan. The Kawashima facility is one of the few sites in Japan that combines ELV dismantling with a shredding operation. Advanced technologies for ELV dismantling, including the removal of plastics, are actively developed and implemented at this site. Additionally, a state-of-the-art large-scale shredder is scheduled to begin operation in February 2026.
